Welcome Alan Grover!

Alan is the Maintenance Supervisor for Boyson Heights! He is originally from a small town in southwest Virginia called Grundy, VA. He married his high school sweetheart Belissa. They have two daughters Brandee and Anna, they are both married and live here in Iowa. Brandee is expecting a child in July!

After many years of working in the coal industry as a Maintenance Mechanic/Surface Forman and Equipment Operator, for a total of 24 years and 4 years as a Deputy Sheriff. He reconnected with a high school wrestling teammate who lived in North Liberty, IA. He was offered a position at his company. So, one Saturday morning he loaded up his truck and headed off to Iowa! He worked about 2 ½ years with him and his business partner as a Project Manager. He then took a position with the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics in the Engineering Service as a Maintenance Mechanic, where he has been for 3 years!

Alan lives in Tipton, IA and loves it here in Iowa! He enjoys spending time with his family, watching college wrestling, trout fishing, working in his garden and helping others. Alan said “I’m so thankful to be working here at Boyson Heights with such wonderful people. Everyone is so nice!”
