Caregiver Resources
All in the Family
Join our Boyson Heights "All in the Family" Support Group! Our goal is to foster communication, friendships and learning opportunities for family and friends with loved ones living with dementia.
Loving someone with dementia is overwhelming, at times confusing, and can leave us not knowing how to handle certain situations. Having resources to share your feelings, receive ideas, and educate yourself about the disease is extremely important in ensuring your well-being.
Meetings will be posted on our monthly activity calendar and in our newsletter. Be sure to subscribe to receive copies each month.
Most people with dementia undergo behavioral changes during the course of the disease. They may become anxious or repeat the same question or activity over and over. The unpredictability of these changes can be stressful for caregivers. We want to provide you with some guidance so, compliments of the Lewy Body Dementia Association, you can download their FREE guide "Understanding Behavior Changes" by clicking here.
